Paul K. Helmer, President
Paul joined Paul J. Krez Company in September 1982. In his first three years at the company, Paul worked in each of the three companies: Paul J. Krez Co., Spray Insulations Inc, and Barrier Corp. Shortly thereafter, Paul focused on Barrier Corp. to grow the company from a single product line, Lightweight Insulating Concrete Roof Decks, to the diverse line of products it offers today.
Paul graduated from the University of Arizona with a BSME degree and then earned his MBA from Loyola University while attending evening classes and working at the company.
Ron Johnson, Project Estimator
Ron joined Barrier Corp in July 1994. Ron's career started as a laborer in the field for Barrier Corp. After Ron's first year, Ron was promoted to the world of Project Management and Estimating. In this position, Ron focused on Floor Underlayments, Floor Leveling and helped transition Barrier Corp. into the world of Concrete Toppings.
Ron's journey to Barrier Corp. started wtih 18 years in the Electronic industry. From there, Ron entered the Construction Industry through a family owned concrete company and finally joined Barrier Corp. in 1994 to make the Construction Industry more than a two decade length career.
Anthony Aiello, Project Manager
Tony teamed up with Barrier Corp in August 2003. Tony’s background is deeply rooted in the concrete construction industry through 25 years of hands on experience in the commercial, industrial and institutional markets. With 16 of those years as construction superintendant for a large concrete contractor, and his first 4 years here at Barrier Corp, he now has moved to the project manager ranks with valuable insights for that role.
Out of high school and following a tour in the U.S. Navy, Tony has been applying himself to multiple facets of the construction industry and has never allowed himself to stagnate. Improving knowledge and skills has always been a priority.
